Today, my Mom and I went to a "Homemade Candy & Chocolate Dipping" class at Shar'sin Gilbert. It was fabulous!! I love making homemade caramels and chocolates (esp at Christmastime), so this just made me want to make even more! I've never made fondant or a pecan log, but she made them in this class. She also made turtles, truffles, and fudge. And we each got a sample of everything she made to put in a cute little box to take with us. Yummmmmmy!!! Needless to say, all my samples are gone. They actually made it home, but now there aren't any left. Well, ok, I saved one for Ben. Lucky HIM. :)
This is the book she referred to when talking about all the different things she was making today. It's an excellent book! You can find it HERE.
I have been married to the most amazing man {and my Best Friend} for 17 yrs and have 4 fun kids (15,14,11,9). I stay busy trying to keep up with them. I love cooking, spending time with my family and friends, reading {when I can find time}, digital scrapbooking, and helping out at my kids school.

SO much fun! I would love to take a class like that.
That sounds so fun! I'd love to do something like that this summer so I can be ready for next year.
I'm loving your Christmas book, what a fun idea. The kitty layout is super cute too!
Thanks for the Christmas card - it's so fun to see your family.
I want to take that class just for the samples. YUM!
Gary got me this book for Christmas a few years ago. I gained TEN pounds in like a month! The recipes are so good!
