Afternoon Date

Today Ben & I took Anson to a sitter and went to see "Jumper" starring Hayden Christensen (you know the guy who played Anakin/Darth Vader in the newer Star Wars movies).
This was such a COOL movie! I mean, how awesome would it be if you could go here in the blink of an eye? Or anywhere else?
If you don't know anything about this movie or have never heard of it, here's a very brief synopsis that I got HERE:
"A genetic anomaly allows a young man to teleport himself anywhere. He discovers this gift has existed for centuries and finds himself in a war that has been raging for thousands of years between "Jumpers" and those who have sworn to kill them."
You can see the movie trailer HERE.
Apparently the theater didn't open until right before the movie started, so we had to wait a little while. We went to Mesa Riverview, so we had a quick bite to eat at Red Brick Pizza. I think that's what it's called. Pretty good, but we definitely like our pizza with more "bread" for the crust.
When we were done, we went to Tempe Marketplace to walk around a bit (we didn't want our sweet little date to end just yet plus Ben hasn't been there yet). Then we stopped to grab a treat at Cold Stone Creamery. Yummm!

Unnhhh I can't wait to see it, not fair you beat me to it! LOL. JK. I'm really anxious to see this one and T could really care less about it. I'll have to convince him somehow to go see it with me. Otherwise I'll be going to the theater by my lonesome as I've done before.

I've never eaten at that pizza place... I've been anxious to try the Cadillac Ranch restaurant/grill whatever it is... and I've eaten at Chipotle there - Luv their bowls. Mmm.

Did you make it over to the World Market? LUV LUV LUV that place! Dad and I both get super distracted in that store. My first visit I was in there for like 3 hrs I think and I had originally planned to stop in Pier Imports too next door... but didn't have time after all the browsing in WM.

Mom took Dad to World Market and she swore she'd never go with him there again LOL. They were in there about the same time I was..LOL. It's awesum if you like products from other places around the world. Food, furniture, decor, you name it. They have a lot of cool stuff there.

Oh and Laura and I love browsing the shops by the theater. We have had many fun girl time occasions there. Luv the Aeropastale (spell?) shop! I've been to a lot of the shops there but don't remember the names of them. :)

Oh PS, I'm currently on Ch14 pg323 of NEW MOON! I'm hooked! I'll admit it. I think I like this book even more than the first. I can see the writing improve of the author the more she writes. Practice makes perfect! I'd have to say the 2nd novel keeps my interest even more. I've actually been a little spooked by the story LOL. :)

G'nite :)

I love going to afternoon movies, but don't get to to it too often.

This was the movie that we watched for our anniversary. I have to say that I thought the concept was cool too. I just wonder if they are going to make another one. There are so many questions that I have about certain thing that happened within the plot.

Glad you had a great time. It is fun to think about where a person might jump too. We decided we would only jump for vacations. That way we weren't jumping all the time and could not be tracked as easily. Also that we would do more to help other people and not be selfish with the jumps.

Anyway, wish I could do a jump soon to just go on vaction with family -- to Disneyland, Africa, Magic Mountain, or ?.

PS Sorry I am anonymous, but it would not let me log in. Allison
