She's been a Student Council Representative this semester and you have to be in student council in order to run for an officer. Her meetings are before school, so I went to the meeting and got to see everyone present their speeches (they only had to be 1 minute & written by themselves w/o help from anyone else). Felicia wrote her own speech & did fantastic presenting it! I was pretty bummed because they weren't going to announce the winners until the end of the day. So, I went to pick them up from school & got there a little early hoping to hear the announcements. I was too late, so I had to WAIT what seemed like FOREVER for the kids to get out to ask about the outcome.YAY!!!! Felicia WON as SECRETARY!!!!! Woooohoooooooo!!!!!

Congratulations! How exciting for her. It is so nice to win. How fun it must be for your kids to love the violin like you do. I wish mine did! Rachael took violin and Kindyl played viola but neither of them want to continue during the summer. What I really would love is a celloist in the family. I love love love it! And it would be easier to get a scholarship. Rach took for one year then quit because it was too big. Sad story.
