Today is going to be BUSY but full of FUN!

I need to shower & get dressed for the day.

   

Call doctor because he forgot a stitch in my bellybutton & it hurts. {had laparoscopy & cystoscopy last Friday} Ben tried to help me get it out last night, but that didn’t go so well. :(

Go buy some groceries.

Drop off case of water bottles to school for teachers’ luncheon.

Pick up sister for cousins lunch!

Eat lunch & laugh til it hurts with awesome cousins!

Pick up kids from school.

Nag kids until homework is done & clean clothes are put away.

Make quick & easy dinner for kids.

Pick up sister and head to theater to wait in super long line for NEW MOON!!!!!! Wooohooooo!!!!!!!

A Little Scrappin

I'm such a bad blogger. Looking at the date of my last post, I guess I have turned into a once-a-month blogger maybe twice. I think of lots of things to post about, but when I get to my computer, either my mind goes blank or I just don't feel like typing it out. LOL

So, to at least post something, I will share a few layouts that I've made this week. It was fun & relaxing to just sit and create a few pages.

I'm so excited because I already have my New Moon tickets!! My sister and I are going together to the midnight showing! November 19th can't come fast enough! HAHAHA

My kids have been out of school this whole week {Fall Break}. It's been really nice having them home. Although, Anson asks me every day "What's today? Is it a school day?" When I say "No." Then he says "Awwwwww I want to go to school!" He is a silly kid!

TWILIGHT

Going to the midnight premiere was SO FUN!! TONS of people & we got there super early to get good seats {ok well Julie got there at 7:30pm to save seats for us - woohoo you rock!!}! I got there about 8:30pm. We also ran & got a little treat from Cold Stone Creamery! Mmmm

SO FUN TO SEE EVERYONE!!!

Ok onto the movie now...I LOVED IT!!! Not changing my mind even if other people didn't like it. Don't really want to hear any negative reviews about it. I know they can't get everything from the book in it, but they did a great job putting a lot of key stuff in there! Originally, I wasn't too keen on some of the actors they chose, but they ALL did wonderful!

I think Jacob is one of the cutest actors they chose! Check out that awesome smile & those dark eyes & dark hair!

And the actor they chose for James is quite hot! Too bad he was BAD! haha

There you have it! We had a BLAST last night! Now I'm trying to function on only a couple hours of sleep, but it's all worth it!!

Twilight - WOOHOOO!!!

I'm SO EXCITED!!!!! It's going to be AWESOME!!!

School Clothes

YAY!!! We accomplished the school clothes shopping yesterday!!! And survived!! We were also done in a couple hours and stopped by Subway for our favorite sandwiches!!

My Mom came with me to help keep the kids focused. We went to Kohl's first because I love their clothes and were having a sale, plus my Mom had an extra 15% off coupon. However, as I was looking around at all the cuteness, I saw the *sale* prices. I still have a hard time paying $19.99 for a pair of kid jeans (and that's the half-off price)! Especially when they ALL needed new clothes! They have outgrown everything!! I was starting to get shaky from the prices since our clothing budget is practically non-existent right now! haha I had to leave.

So, we ventured over to our favorite WalMart. I already bought all their school supplies here, so why not their clothes too! Anyway, we found tons of cute t-shirts that were only $3.50/$4.50/$6.00 each! In all their sizes!! So they each got several shirts and 4 pairs of shorts/capris.

Here's the gang pretty darn happy about their new wardrobe (ok only 7 days worth but they can mix-n-match, right?)!

I just had to take a picture of this too because it doesn't happen very often, willingly. My kids hanging up their shirts and putting EVERYTHING away neatly!

They have ALL their school supplies, new shoes, backpacks & lunchboxes (for those who needed them), and now their school clothes! They are feeling pretty ready for school to start next week!

Oh and can't forget this. Guess who I found that is a new Twilight fan?

Yep, my sweet Ginger immediately crawled over to lay on my Breaking Dawn book as soon as I set it down on my bed (like it was a soft blanket or something). I had to give her a substitute (Eclipse) so that I could continue reading mine. hahaha

I am feeling a little different about this book. I LOVED all the others and am totally loving this one too, and I was in such a hurry to read the others and HAD to know what happened and how the book ended. I read them straight thru as fast as I could! I REALLY want to know how this one ends too and everything in between, but I am enjoying reading only a few chapters a day. I have to say that the first night I got it, I read for about 3 hours and completed the first section (in Bella's perspective). When I got up in the morning though, I sorta didn't want to read Jacob's perspective. So, I put it off a day. I don't know why. Somehow I thought it would be less interesting. I was SO WRONG, which I found out after a page or two!! Well, like I said, I'm dying to know everything that happens, but I'm also trying to prolong the *experience* I guess. I kinda don't want it to END. It gives me a little something to look forward to each day...getting back to Bella and her fascinating world! {then again, I can't wait to be able to talk to my friends & niece all about the story!}

By the way, here's an interesting article about Stephenie Meyer! (oh and my parents just told me recently that my Dad grew up with her MIL. My parents know both her in-laws and her husband when he was little. My Dad recently ran into her MIL and chatted with her, totally not knowing anything about the Twilight world. haha. He asked me if I knew anything about it. Ummm OF COURSE! LOL)

It's just a matter of hours now!! I can't wait to read all about Edward, Bella & Jacob!

In case you can't already tell, I am a HUGE fan of the Twilight books!

My hubby thought that he scored 2 Twilight t-shirts from Comic-Con last weekend, but as it turned out, they weren't :( Oh well, he tried. But he did manage to grab some Twilight trading cards. I got several packs. I think each pack is the same, so maybe I'll have a give-away. Let me know if you're interested!

2nd - a game that Ben & I have been waiting to release just arrived in our mailbox today! We have GameFly (kinda like Netflix) so we get to rent and try them out for as long as we want!! Ben played for a while to check out the game, then I joined him. He wasn't too pleased because this game I love and I'm pretty good at what he calls *button-mashing*! I push a lot of buttons fast and accomplish totally whooping his butt! LOL Lovin' it!!

Oh by the way, just in case you were wondering, the game we played is called Soul Calibur IV on XBOX360. My fave character is Raphael!!! Yep, I'm a gamer dork, sometimes! haha

Breaking Dawn will be released Saturday, August 2, 2008!!!!!

Production for the Twilight movie will begin soon (like this month, I think) & scheduled to be released on December 12, 2008.

Kristen Stewart is cast as Bella Swan and Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen. Don't know any of the other characters yet. I snagged this picture from Jamie, don't know where she got it but isn't it cool?! Oh, and Kristen Stewart has an interview posted HERE regarding her role in the movie.

I am SO EXCITED!!! Can't wait for the new book & movie!! I have read the other 3 books and totally LOVE them!!
